FOR SALE - Lifesize Rainbow Dash (Over 4 ft Tall!) by sockfuzzy FOR SALE - Lifesize Rainbow Dash (Over 4 ft Tall!) by sockfuzzy
Back up on Ebay...again!  New link:…?

She's finally done! And I'm actually really happy with how she turned out :) There's Lots more pictures on Ebay. If you want to see other views of her feel free to click the link above

This pony stands approximately 50" tall, is 43" long from nose to tail, and is 14" wide. For a better idea of her size, notice that she's standing on a papasan chair next to a dress form.

She stands easily on her own, with no internal armature.

She is made entirely of minky fabric, and machine stitched with hand embroidery around the eyes, nose, and cutie mark.

In total, she features 13 colors of minky, 10 colors of embroidery floss, nearly 20 lbs of poly-fil, and took over 2 months to complete.

She is made from my own pattern, tweaked slightly after making my life-sized Derpy to make it a bit more show accurate (changed the neck a bit, and the belly to make it stand better)

Rainbow Dash, MLP, My Little Pony belong to Hasbro. This is fanart only.

This is probably the most impressive plush pony I've ever seen. That big, capable of standing on her own, and reasonably show-accurate. If this isn't impressive, then I don't know what is.

Wow, that's amazing.. but come on a reserve price? Put it at the price you want then.. it makes people keep 'guessing' to get what you want for it. Sorry but that's one of my pet peeves. I hate that function of ebay. It's pointless. Just make it a buy only item. I'm guessing you want 1k at least?
I did a little research on his eBay page. His life-size Derpy plushie sold for $910. I'd guess this one has to cost a good deal more, at least a couple hundred.

Still, you can post items at the starting price you want. Hence why I hate reserve pricing because you don't get the item until you hit 'their' mark. It's a bit deceptive.
I agree. I thought something was weird when I looked at the highest bid and saw only $157.50. For something that impressive, that price easily fits into the "too good to be true" range. The only reason I could imagine using the reserve pricing method is because the starting price might scare people off. If the current bids are any indication, he might not even get close to the price he wants.

Which means it won't sell. Items with reserve pricing only sell if they hit that hidden magic number. It's a shame. If I want an item like that I always send a note to the seller asking what they want, because I don't like guessing.
Yeah, but I hope he does find someone that really wants it. I'd be willing to drop upwards of $300 for this (maybe a bit more if I wasn't going to college in a week), but once you get close to four figures, people really start losing interest.
